Construction Business Owner (20+ Years)
For over two decades, I have owned and operated a construction business, mastering project management, fiscal responsibility, efficient resource allocation, and strict adherence to quality and safety standards. This experience taught me the critical importance of managing public resources responsibly while consistently delivering projects on time and within budget.
Operations Leader – TELUS Communications
Leading and supporting a high-performing team of more than 80 professionals, I specialized in operational efficiency, team collaboration, conflict resolution, and delivering reliable services to a diverse customer base. This role strengthened my capacity to unite diverse groups and implement practical, results-driven solutions.
Municipal Experience (Parks and Recreation Branch)
Working directly within municipal infrastructure gave me an insider's perspective on city operations. I contributed solutions for boulevard development and helped ensure contracts were completed on time, within budget, and to required standards—giving me a firsthand understanding of the complexities behind public service delivery.
